Thanks for taking 15 minutes out to get us readers excited about the new direction. Been here since issue #1 and I don’t plan on going anywhere and now I have to say I am intrigued as hell to see where you are taking us on this ride.
I could ask a million questions but I would prefer to just sit back and watch it unfold (although if you can get Tyler to ship me a copy of each variant that would be appreciated).

Just finished issue #185 and I think it’s great! Like the change, the artwork, the whole thing! Changes are good, and I think you guys are doing a great job with Spawn! Been here since issue #1 aswell like BrikHed and indeed I don’t plan on going anywhere either!
I’m looking forward to issue #186!

Loyal reader here. Been on and off spawn from #1, officially caught up now.
Just talking about 185 with a friend who is a big Whilce fan and let me put it to you like this…
My boy is a huge comic dude but hates Spawn for many reasons.
#1) He is aboard now, solely because of Whilce. The guy is a god.
#2) He is aboard (and so am I) because in my friends words “Al was a whiny lil bitch”. To be frank, the Simmons saga had pretty much played its course. Do I like how it eneded? Not really. But do I like that a guy will get the hellspawn curse who will embrass it and kick some ass? Hell yeah.
Pay Whilce whatever you have to and LETS NOT BE LATE WITH THE ISSUES and you have an old and new fan on board.

Loyal Reader of the series read all 185 issues so far. Just have a few questions for you.
1. Are we going to get a explanation for why Al blew his head off?
2. Will we see another possible version of a reedemer type warrior for heaven??
I liked the Al simmons spawn however you have brought up good point about him never full accepting the powers cant wait to see what new abilities come from the new Hellspawn
Well, i’m from Argentina. I’m really proud to say both me and my brother have been reading Spawn since very little, pretty much since i was 7, and i’m 17 now. Always a great influence i must. Sadly, theys topped selling the comic book in my country, but it’s nice to be able to have a certain idea of what’s going on. I did, however, got my hands into an import of 185. I must say it. I think this turn of events is really the best thing that could’ve happened. Some fresh air into the great universe of spawn.

I’ve been reading Spawn since i was 14.Its had its ups and downs,mostly when you left i lost interest got busy doing other things.I lost track doing so minus bout twenty issues caught up recently.Glad to hear you’re back in with it all,need a good artist to fit it all together.
Now just a quick question curious about but the mentor the man guiding Al along through this took over hell.He hasn’t been spoken of,Now either im still missing an issue that explains him,or he is still being kept as a secret key player for the future.Thanks for your time. -ryan

i love the changes in issue 185 and i’d love to see what Todd has planned…
now that i think of it - he’s the particular GOD of the Spawn comic… i guess this is his way of giving us another angle or story… yet he had to do something really special or definite to get us hooked again or even more on the comic…
now, loosing his head was the only way to end the character, maybe we’ll see him again at peace in some other way…
great shift in the saga, anyway… it’s GREAT!!!

Dear Todd,
after much thought….i can come to grips with Al being gone…But Not LIke That!!!! Dear Lord!!! We just saw him save the earth,beat God and Satan, learn his history, and found out he had a daughter!!!!!!
and now what…….he’s dead…where would he go??? who’ll stop his new Hellspawn Daughter??? where did Wanda, Nyx, and Cyan go?? how does this new guy get a suit if the portals are closed??? and wtf is up with Cog???
Also from another point of view…what would this do to any (if any) of the movie deals we’ve heard about???
