This was a great issue! I’ve been waiting for this for a while, but the wait was worth it! I’m a new Spawn reader, but I know some basic Spawn history. The art was amazing and the story was written well. One thing that I would like is if there was no cussing, but I can’t change the comic for everyone else. I didn’t ask for a certain cover at my comic store but I ended up getting Capullo’s cover, and it looks so cool ( I originally planned to get the Mcfarlane cover, but I’m happy that I have the Capullo one.). It would be great if I could get all 5 covers, but I don’t have that kind of money! I thought the missing head was just a picture for the cover, but I guess I was wrong. The comic book paper is really nice ( I know that’s really random, but I noticed it right away. I’ve been reading Marvel comic books and the paper quality is very different.). For some reason, my comic has a lot of random black blotches over the white background on the cover ( I kind of wanted it to be pure white.). Is that a printing error? Or is that an effect of the shipping? It also has a little rip on the back (really small, but it makes me kind of sad. I like to have comics in perfect condition.). Is that a problem from the shipping too? Well, this was a great issue and I feel bad for people who are missing out on this great comic. Great job to Mr. Mcfarlane, Mr. Portacio, Mr. Holguin, Mr. Capullo, Mr. Han, and the other great workers of this comic (the letterer, managing editors, and publisher). I just can’t get enough of the cover! I can’t wait until Spawn #186! I also can’t wait for some really good fight scenes and I can’t wait to see the Redeemer ( he looks really cool). Good job to everyone working on the book! Thank you, Spawn team!
I got my copy last night I can’t wait to read it.
I have 4 of the 5 covers, but I can’t find any information about the black and white Whilce cover. Was this cover really released. It hasn’t even appeared on ebay and someone always sccops some up and puts them up to make some money. I have called comic shops all over and NONE of them had the black and white cover and I have seen no evidence in all my searching that anyone has actually gotten one. Does anyone have one? Was it even released?
Im with peter, cant find the B&W anywhere! No evidence that anyone got it
there are several headless McFarlanes online for sale as we speak but no one seems to have the B&W
whats crackalacin???
I just put my Spawn #185 Black & White cover up with the other 4 covers on ebay recently. I did order almost 200 copies, and yes, the Black & White ones are EXTREMELY scarce!
toymaniac on ebay
So what is the final story on the black and white cover? I’ve been watching ebay like a hawk and have not seen 1. Not even in the completed lists. Anyone know how I can find one. I’m prepared to pay top dollar.
