Can’t believe Simmons is gone. Ballsy move, however, I trust McFarlane implicently. I would just like to say thank you to all the artists and writers who have ever worked on an issue of SPAWN. I look forward to the new direction McFarlane is taking his character.

(Reader since 1995, and i will continue to read as long as there is a SPAWN comic book every month.)
i just went and see the online comic book spawn #185. and i’ve gotta say the clown looks cool, portacio’s version looks wicked, as well as when he’s transformed into the violator.
one question though, what kind of pistol is al simmons loading ? there’s no pistol with that kind of ammuntion, which looks like a 5.56 mm round of an m-16. if that was the case, its not just al simmons head that’s going to blow up but the pistol as well. there’s still 2 copies of spawn #185 at my comic shop. am still thinking twice of buying it, because there are a lot, and i mean a lot of books on the racks that are so much better than spawn.
Al simons really dead????? i been a fan for 15 strong years…..although moved a year ago with no comic book stores for 6-7 miles…. so i am still missing gaps between 166-182
and as for the figures, i have colected almost every series that deal with the spawn comics…..although, (old) cog and chaple i would very much like to see along with a new favorite Nyx…. thanks Todd you are the man
and you have inspired my art work as well over the years
the best comic to ever transpire Love live SPAWN
