The McFarlane booth at Comic-Con International this year will have an added attraction ... Todd McFarlane himself.

    That's right, for the first time since 1998, McFarlane will be attending the world's pre-eminent comics convention. And he's not just popping in to say hi, Todd will be at the Con for the majority of the time, between Aug. 1 and 4 at the San Diego Convention Center. Todd will be a guest of honor and will be signing at our part of the Image booth, chatting with fans, attending discussion groups, sitting on panels and will generally be available to talk with attendees.

    TMP artists including Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith will be in the house to sign. Additionally, spawn.com message board moderators Drew Hutchinson, Brad Gould and Dion Bozman will be in attendance and will be busy talking with fans and giving away prizes.

    At last year's Con, "When's Todd coming back?" was the question we heard most often. We're happy and excited he decided to return to San Diego in 2002. Stay tuned to spawn.com for more details on this event as they become available.
