PHOENIX CACTUS-CON WRAP-UP
A Good Time for All in the Valley of the Sun

Last weekend, McFarlane Toys suited up, hit the road and headed directly for the Convention Center in Mesa, Arizona to spread the good word and show off some extraordinary product for our local Arizona fans.
And it went off without a hitch. The biggest item on display was the Crime Mobile, which was an immediate showstopper. Nothing grabs the eye quite like a 1955 Chevrolet on the floor of a comic convention.
But that was just the appetizer.
We had our famous 2-up prototypes of the upcoming SPAWN Series 31, SIMPSONS MOVIE, DRAGONS Series 5 and MILITARY Series 5 assortments. Fans gawked and asked questions, which always tends to lead toward good conversation.
Another treat came in the form of a "sneak peek" of two upcoming comic releases: Spawn Issue 164 and The Adventures of Spawn, Director's Cut- both available for fans to thumb through and take a look at what was hitting their favorite comic store shelves on January 31st.
The icing on our convention cake was Al Simmons making a personal appearance on Saturday and signing comics, toys and sketchbooks until his hand turned blue. Fans new and old left our booth with smiles on their faces after meeting the man who inspired SPAWN.
And as always, our giveaways were quite the crowd-pleaser. With our prizes ranging from a complete set of LOST Series 1 figures to signed comics, our booth was packed with eager fans during our daily drawings.
From Friday's PREVIEW night to closing up shop on Sunday evening, everyone involved had a great time and is looking forward to coming back next year.
