The Royal Alberta Museum (RAM), in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, is hosting an international touring exhibit this summer called, Dragons, Between Science and Fiction. The 10,000 square-foot exhibit celebrates the global myth of the dragon, and features a remarkable collection of art and artifacts from around the world - including items from McFarlane Toys.

The RAM wanted to profile the work of Albertans who are actively contributing to the culture, and who better than Todd McFarlane? They will be showcasing the creative process of how a dragon figure is made by featuring original dragon concept sketches, stylized photography, clay prototypes and dragon product.

"Dragons are an extension of monsters," says Todd McFarlane. I believe the love affair with monsters begins at a very early age, especially for boys. And arguably, it never ends. A dragon is just a monster in another form - more likeable, but a monster just the same."

The RAM will also be selling McFarlane Dragons figures at their onsite gift shop.
