The recent weather troubles in the south have led to the delay and/or rescheduling of many events. One of those is a rain-delay Major League Baseball game between the New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

What does this have to do with McFarlane Toys?

Well, the folks in the Yankees organization will be giving away the remainder of the special Derek Jeter/Alex Rodriguez 3-inch two-pack from the original stadium promotion. Click here for the details.

The makeup game between the Pinstripes and the D'Rays is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 23 at 3:05 p.m. The first 5,000 people of all ages through the gates will get a two-pack courtesy of Modell's Sporting Goods.

In addition, hot dogs and Coca-Cola beverages will be offered to all fans in attendance at half-price. In a continuing effort to assist those affected by the recent hurricanes, the net proceeds from the $5 public ticket sale for the rescheduled game will be donated by the Yankees to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
