U.S. MARINES IN IRAQ READ 'SPAWN'
Donation from McFarlane Companies Boost Troops' Morale

For the third consecutive year, the McFarlane Companies have donated copies of our flagship comic title, Spawn, along with a variety of Spawn stickers to some of the Marines serving in the 7th Engineer Support Battalion of the 1st Marine Logistics Group. This has been an ongoing morale boost for these brave men and women serving in the Middle East.

With all of these troops currently serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom, some currently on their third or fourth tour, we were more than happy to do what we could to put a smile on their faces.

Jessy Perez, SSgt USMC, who is mainly responsible for the coordination of this donation, says,

"I got the comics yesterday and distributed them to the Marines. Thanks for the variety of comics that were provided and the stickers as well. My Battalion Executive Officer, Major Fahy, sends his thanks for helping to boost the morale of our Marines."

We hope to continue these donations, and extend our best wishes to everyone serving in our armed services.
