Our official announcement, nearly a month ago, about a long-rumored cold-cast resin statue of Miracleman from McFarlane Toys set fire to yet a new round of Internet gossip.
It's all good. In the end - and very shortly - fans of this classic comic character will have a high-quality statue to display.
We have some new photography, as the sculpt has been slightly tweaked since we last showed pictures. Final production size is 12 inches and includes a custom base and deluxe boxed packaging. Click here for new photos one, two, and three.
This will be a specialty store exclusive and will be produced in incredibly limited quantities. With Miracleman being such a hot topic in the comic book world, this resin will surely go quickly.
No firm prices have been set at this time, but a retail figure of around $100 isn't unusual for products of this nature. Look for Miracleman to be available in April. Also look for a series of other cold-cast statues to be released over the course of 2003.
