Todd McFarlane and Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling fielded media interviews today from the McFarlane Companies corporate headquarters located in Tempe, Ariz. Media present included Phoenix-based radio, newspaper and magazines and Sirius Satellite Radio host Scott Ferrell.

Schilling is in town this weekend to play his former team, the Arizona Diamondbacks. He's passionate about video games, and took the opportunity to get the word out about his new gaming company, 38 Studios. McFarlane has been contracted to provide the creative direction for the company.

The 38 Studios brand will deliver not only massively multiplayer online games, but also a broad spectrum of immersive products. With the gaming company's first project release pending, Schilling and McFarlane wanted to give people a better idea of what they can expect from 38 Studios.
