McFarlane Toys announces plans to produce a "SLASH" action figure based on his in-game character from Activision's hit videogame, Guitar Hero® III: Legends of Rock. The figure is expected to hit mass retailers in February 2009.
One of the most iconic guitarists of all time, lead guitarist for the acclaimed hard rock act Velvet Revolver and a former member of Guns 'N' Roses, the SLASH figure will have more than 15 moving parts. Also included with the figure is a unique, removable guitar that is interchangeable with the other Guitar Hero figures and a sculpted Guitar Hero logo base.
The hugely popular Guitar Hero® franchise delivers the ultimate guitar-bending experience, enabling aspiring axe shredders everywhere to unleash their inner rock star. Featuring a wide variety of music spanning five decades, the franchise is highlighted by countless original recordings from many of the most beloved artists of all time.
'GUITAR HERO' SERIES 1 NOW AVAILABLE AT TOYS 'R' US
McFarlane Toys' first line of Guitar Hero action figures has just arrived at Toys 'R' Us stores. The Series 1 6-inch action figures retail for $10-$15, and include four of Guitar Hero's most popular characters:- JOHNNY NAPALM
