Winners Hale from Southern California and Quebec
Friday, November 22, 2002

The Web is truly "World Wide," as evidenced by the amazing international response to the spawn.com "Win a Spider-Man DVD" contest held over the past two weeks.

Most of the hundreds of entrants were from North America. However, several Spawn and Spider-Man fans sent in e-mail entries from countries such as England, Italy, Netherlands, Singapore, France, Norway and Sri Lanka. And, the responses from the U.S. and Canada came from all points, north, south, east and west.

The first-prize winner, Mark Macarandan of Salinas, Calif., will receive the widescreen special edition of Spider-Man. The grand-prize winner, Francois Tessier from Quebec, gets his hands on the DVD, plus a copy of the Spider-Man soundtrack from Roadrunner Records, autographed by Todd. Congratulations to both!

If you've already picked up your copy or you're heading out to the rental store this weekend and want to check out Todd's portion of the DVD, put Disk Two in the tray. Go to the Spider-Man Comic Book Archives, where some of Todd's work is shown among legendary artists such as Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, Romita Sr. and Jr., Sal Buscema, Gil Kane, Erik Larsen, Jim Salicrup, Tim Sale, Jeph Loeb and more. An interview with Todd and many of the artists listed above can also be found on the Historical Documentary - Spider-Man: The Mythology of the 21st Century.
