'Casefiles: Sam and Twitch' First Issue in May
Friday, February 28, 2003

Todd McFarlane Productions is introducing a new monthly comic book. Beginning in May, Casefiles: Sam and Twitch will be hitting comic book store shelves with a refreshing and bold new twist on these classic New York City detectives first introduced in the pages of Spawn.

The creative team, at least for the first story arc - a six-parter titled "Have You Seen Me?" - is writer Marc Andreyko and artist Scott Morse.

The first story arc will be told in a unique manner: It will actually be three stories, occurring simultaneously. Each page will be divided into three sections, with each story reading horizontally across the pages throughout the entire book. The stories running along the top and bottom of the pages will be pencilled and inked (colored by Jay Fotos), and the center story line will be painted.

Each successive story arc will have a different artist throughout the run, with Todd and Andreyko choosing the artists. All the stories will, however, be written by Andreyko.

Casefiles: Sam and Twitch takes the hard-bitten detectives you know and love and immerses them in an even murkier urban jungle than ever before. The "N" in this noir stands for nightmare and Casefiles is suggested for mature readers only. Look for it this May. Until then, check out the cover of issue #1 and a preview of upcoming issue art.
