Swollen Members' 'Breath' Gets Four MuchMusic Nods

The Canadian music network MuchMusic announced its 2003 MuchMusic Video Award nominations this week live in studio from Toronto, Ontario. Breath, the music video Todd McFarlane directed and TME President Terry Fitzgerald produced for Canada's premiere rap/hip-hop act Swollen Members, received four nominations in total.
These nominations include: "Best Video," "MuchVibe Best Rap Video," "Best Independent Video" and "People's Choice: Favorite Canadian Group." The last video category noted is voted on by the public via MuchMusic's Web site at www.muchmusic.com or via cell phone to a number listed on the site. Todd and the band encourage your vote for the video.
The Breath video features the Swollen Members along with co-singer Nelly Furtado and was shot last December in Vancouver, B.C. Todd and Terry would like to congratulate Mad Child, Prevail, Moka Only, Rob the Viking and Nelly on this achievement.
The 2003 MuchMusic Video Awards can be seen on MuchMusic (Canada) and Fuse (the American sister company) live Sunday, June 22 at 9 pm EST, with an encore Monday, June 23 at Noon EST. A pre-awards show begins with live red carpet arrivals starting at 7:30 pm EST, Sunday night.
