New McFarlane-Designed CFLPA Logo To Be Unveiled At Event
Friday, April 30, 2004

The ninth annual Calgary Stampeders Fan Fest, sponsored by the Royal Tyrrell Museum, is scheduled for Saturday, May 15, at McMahon Stadium in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. What's this have to do with McFarlane?

Well, in addition to Calgary being Todd's hometown, he spearheaded the design of the new CFLPA (Canadian Football League Player's Association) logo that will be unveiled at the event.

Oh, and McFarlane will attend the event to celebrate the Stampeders Football Club -- five-time Grey Cup Champions -- and to participate in a public unveiling at noon when the new logo will be revealed. Todd will also participate in a signing session with the team scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A whole day of events is planned for Stampeders fans at the stadium, including a number of fun on-field events, the aforementioned autograph session and a tour of the locker room. There will be a selection of McFarlane Toys action figures on display in the CFLPA booth.
