SPAWN ACTOR ATTENDING SOUTH FLORIDA SCIFI CONVENTION THIS WEEKEND

Michael Jai White, who played the title character in the 1997 live-action movie Spawn, will be attending the South Florida SciFi Anime Comic Convention as one of the celebrity guests. The event will take place this weekend, June 5th and June 6th in Plantation (Fort Lauderdale), Florida. Doors open at 10:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. The event closes at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $15 for one day and $20 for a two day pass. The convention will have vendors, celebrity guests, Japanese animation movie viewings and a lot more. SPAWN MOVIE FACTS:
The live-action Spawn film opened August 1, 1997, at theaters nationwide. Spawn grossed $37 million in its first 10 days of nationwide release, ranking second at the box office in week one, and hitting the $50 million mark in only 19 days. The movie is available on video and DVD, in both PG-13 and R Director's Cut formats.
