TODD TO APPEAR LIVE ON ESPN 'OUTSIDE THE LINES'
McFarlane to Give ESPN a Piece of his Mind this Sunday
Friday, October 01, 2004
Todd McFarlane will be a featured guest on ESPN's Outside the Lines with Bob Ley on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 9:30 a.m. EST.
Ley will hold a roundtable discussion with Todd, another collector and the fan who improbably caught Barry Bonds' 660th and 661st home runs balls in McCovey Cove earlier this summer about the value of the record-breaking baseballs that are virtually guaranteed to be crushed out of some MLB ballpark next season.
The live, 30-minute weekly edition of ESPN's Outside the Lines, the pioneer investigative sports-news program, premiered April 2 and airs every Sunday.
The weekly Outside the Lines series is hosted by Emmy award-winning journalist and SportsCenter anchor Ley. It is an opportunity for ESPN to explore the most significant sports story of the week in a format inspired by the classic ABC News Nightline broadcast. The single-topic shows open with a set-up piece characterizing the issues surrounding the program's topic. The preliminary piece is followed by a live guest discussion moderated by Ley featuring principal figures from that week's story.
