Two-packs, 12-Inch Figures, Lineups Shifts and More!
Friday, March 11, 2005

McFarlane Toys announced our Sports Picks lineups for NFL Series 11 and 12 a few weeks ago, but even the casual observer had to know there was more to come. MUCH more...

We'll be releasing our third series of 12-inch NFL figures this fall. In addition to giving some of the best active players the "SUPERSTAR" (i.e., large-scale) treatment, we'll also be offering two players from our NFL Legends debut series in 12-inch scale. The 12-inch NFL figures should be arriving in stores in early August; here's the lineup:

In addition to the 12-inch figures, we'll also be offering our third set of 3-inch NFL figures. These players will be featured in single packaging similar to the ones sold last December in Target's "Stocking Stuffer" program. Look for these figures in stores in early August as well:Note, the five figures that have previously been released in 3-inch scale (the bottom five on the above list) will be in different uniforms than their first release.

The last two years, we've offered NFL boxed sets to go along with each 6-inch Sports Picks series and 2005 is no exception. We'll be offering two sets this year. The first is a nod to this past January's NFC Championship game and features Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick trying to avoid a tackle from Philadelphia Eagles free safety Brian Dawkins. This will be the first new NFL product for the upcoming season, slated to hit shelves in late July. Our second boxed set is a salute to the diehard fans in Green Bay. It'll showcase Packers wide receiver Javon Walker making the traditional "Lambeau Leap" into the stands to meet the fans. Look for the "Lambeau Leap" to arrive in stores in October.

There has been some "series swapping" in our previously announced NFL 11 and NFL 12 lineups. Jets center Kevin Mawae and Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson 3 have been shifted from NFL 11 to NFL 12. In return, Chiefs tackle Willie Roaf and Giants running back Tiki Barber 2 have slid from NFL 12 to NFL 11. We've also added new Oakland Raiders receiver Randy Moss into the NFL 11 lineup. Your reloaded NFL series for this fall look like this:

NFL 11NFL 12Look for NFL 11 to arrive in stores in early September, followed by NFL 12 in late October. Can't wait that long for football? We'll be offering Ravens and Falcons versions of Deion Sanders as a Collector's Club special in late April, followed by the much-anticipated NFL Legends line in August.
