TODD PLAYS IN CHARITY SOFTBALL GAME
Proceeds Benefit Society of St. Vincent DePaul
Wednesday, November 21, 2007

On Monday, Nov. 19, Todd McFarlane joined the XTRA 910AM softball team to take on the league umpires in a charity softball game.

Todd took his usual spot in the outfield, and was running down balls left and right with his Tori Hunter-like range and glove; however it wasn't enough, as the umpires defeated XTRA 910AM 7-2.

Todd started off well with a hit at his first plate appearance, and scored the team's first run. However, things quickly got ugly, due to the team's horrendous shortstop who will remain nameless (producer for "Bick and MJ" Mike "Jack" Bauer), and a no-show by morning show host Dan Bickley.

In all seriousness, the great news is that fun was had by all, and the game was played to benefit the Society of St. Vincent DePaul, which has been serving the homeless and economically disadvantaged since 1946.

Additionally, spectators and participants were asked to donate new or 'gently used' sporting goods for the Valley of the Sun YMCA.
