New York's Title Recognized with Two New Product Releases
Friday, March 14, 2008

The New York Giants stunned the NFL this fall, taking down three favored teams in a row to win their third Super Bowl with a come-from-behind last-minute triumph over the previously unbeaten New England Patriots. McFarlane Toys couldn't help but notice (the game was played in the shadow of our flagship store in Glendale, Ariz.), and we've added two items to our fall schedule to commemorate the Giants' title win.

The Giants' Commemorative Championship 3-Pack includes three New York players being offered in their white jerseys for the first time. Michael Strahan, Plaxico Burress and Eli Manning will be offered side-by-side in the Giants' 2008 white uniforms. These three players have never been offered in Giants' white before.

We are also updating 2007's New York Giants Ultimate Team Set to the white uniform, and replacing three players to replicate the Giants' re-vamped starting offensive lineup from the Super Bowl. Fullback Madison Hedgecock replaces Jim Finn, right guard Chris Snee replaces Grey Ruegamer, and tight end Kevin Boss replaces Jeremy Shockey.

Both items will be available at both mass and specialty retailers, and are expected to arrive on shelves in mid-October. Stay tuned to for photos of these and other NFL products.
