ANNOUNCING 'SPAWN: ENDGAME' COMIC ART CONTEST WINNERS
Fans Choose Winners of Top Prizes

To celebrate the new direction and creative team of Spawn #185, we held an epic contest.

We invited everyone to show us their vision of the Al Simmons Spawn character, in the media of their choice. And the entries flooded in - by the hundreds. We narrowed the entries down to the 25 best, posted them on our Spawn: Endgame Web site and our MySpace page, and let the public vote for their favorites.

The people have spoken.

First prize, winner of an original full-body drawing of Spawn by world-renown comic artist Whilce Portacio:

Second prize, winner of an original Whilce Portacio Spawn head sketch:
#19. "Hellspawn 2.0" by John Falk

By now, you should know that Endgame is full of surprises. Here's another one. In addition to the art contest "popular vote," a special to-be-announced "electoral college" has also chosen their favorite entries, and those winners (and the prizes they will receive) will be announced very soon.
