JOIN McFARLANE TOYS AT METRO LIGHT RAIL OPENING CELEBRATION!

As previously announced, Todd McFarlane created the special artwork used in conjunction with the opening of the Phoenix METRO Light Rail preview ride on Friday, Dec. 26.

Todd will be on hand for an exclusive signing for the "golden ticket" holders at Tempe Transportation Center from 8am - 9am.

McFARLANE TOYS WILL JOIN IN PHOENIX METRO LIGHT RAIL GRAND OPENING FESTIVITIES
If you're a Phoenix resident or happen to be visiting the Phoenix area during the holidays, you won't want to miss the METRO Light Rail opening hoopla. Street artists, entertainers and musicians (including the Phoenix Symphony) will be performing, and all train rides are free until 2009, including New Year's Eve!

McFarlane-Inspired T-Shirts to Benefit United Way
The artwork created by Todd for the inaugural "golden ticket" will also be seen on t-shirts (retailing for $20 each) available at all public events celebrating the launch of the Phoenix METRO Light Rail. Additionally, Metro Light Rail Commemorative Ticket replicas (featuring the McFarlane artwork) will be available for $10, with all proceeds benefitting The Valley of the Sun United Way.

McFarlane Toys Guitar Hero Event
When: Saturday, Dec. 27
Where: Station 14, located on 3rd St., between Jefferson St. and Monroe St.
Time: 10am to 4pm
Representatives from the McFarlane Westgate Store will be selling our Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Cardinals, Spawn and Guitar Hero figures.* Come check us out and say hello!

Weather permitting, we will also be hosting a Guitar Hero contest, open to the public. Come show us what you're made of! Register to play and you could win a McFarlane Toys prize package! All ages welcome.

"Phoenix Rising" Party
When: Saturday, Dec. 27
Where: Third St., between Jefferson and Washington St.
Time: 10am to 5pm
Sponsored by CityScape, "Phoenix Rising" will spotlight what's new and happening in downtown Phoenix. There will be music, street performers and family activities. This party also will celebrate the new Phoenix Convention Center.
