FLUKEMAN: OUT OF THE SEWERS, INTO YOUR HOME
The Only Way to Complete your X Files Collection is Through the Collector's Club and Spawn Store
November 22, 2000
Two years after McFarlane Toys' award-winning original line of X Files action figures, a dangerous new character has dredged itself up from the Earth's bowels. That's right, it's the long-rumored, much-awaited ... Flukeman.
Flukie, as he's known to his fans, first appeared on "The Host" episode of The X Files TV series and was instantly popular with "X-philes." And he's photogenic, too.
The product of a nuclear accident, Flukeman is completely gruesome and arguably one of the strangest, most recognizable oddities ever to appear on the show. Flukie is a human worm of sorts, with three-fingered hands and a body covered with pale, folded flesh and a red, gaping maw.
The McFarlane Toys' figure is just as revolting. Standing 6 3/4 inches tall, Flukeman has a special base that resembles a brick wall from the sewer system and is articulated in the wrists, biceps and thighs with a special bendable rubber neck. This character has never been made as an action figure before, and is available exclusively through the McFarlane Toys Collector's Club and the Spawn Store for a limited time. As with all club exclusives, Flukie is packaged in a special clamshell blister. Get yours today. Don't be left out in the cold without a radioactive blood-sucking monstrosity of your own.
