SCORE MGS2 GAME FOR PS2

Spawn.com Has the Goods; You Can Win 'Em

December 28, 2001

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty - both the video game from Konami and the accompanying action figures from McFarlane Toys - is a hot property. If you haven't gotten the game yet (slacker!), spawn.com is coming to your rescue.

We've got two fresh copies of the PS2 game sitting here waiting for new homes. That's right, you can win your own copy of MGS2 just by answering a simple question:

In spawn.com's online Metal Gear Solid 2 feature, we showed you the new illustration by Todd McFarlane and Clayton Crain. In this illustration, what is Raiden holding in his right hand?

Here's how to enter: E-mail your name and full mailing address along with your answer to contest@mcfarlane.com. E-mail is the only way to enter. The subject line of your message must be "MGS2 contest." You must only enter once. Yes, Virginia, we do cross-reference the entries. If you enter more than once, all your entries will be submitted to data purgatory.

Your e-mail should look like this:

    Name: Joe Blow

Address: 111 E. Main St., Palookaville, NJ 00001

    Answer: xxxxxx

Pretty simple, huh? Two winners will be selected from all entries that follow directions and have the correct answer. You have until noon Mountain Time on Thursday, Jan. 3 to enter. Two winners will be announced the following day in the News section at spawn.com.
