Bruce Dickinson to Appear in Support of Eddie Action Figure

February 1, 2002

McFarlane Toys is excited to announce the scheduled appearance of Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson at our Toy Fair 2002 showroom in New York on Tuesday, Feb. 12.

Dickinson will be at Toy Fair to promote the Eddie from Killers action figure recently released by McFarlane Toys. Plans call for a media event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EST that day, with major organizations such as MTV, VH-1 and Rockline all confirmed to cover the event.

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the band's breakthrough album, The Number of the Beast, Iron Maiden's entire discography is being reissued through the Sanctuary/Metal-Is label.

Also in 2002, the band is slated to release the highly anticipated Rock in Rio DVD and a live double-album of the same name.

In a bonus for Todd and Bruce fans, both McFarlane and Dickinson will be live on the Rockline radio show on Monday, Feb. 11. The show goes live at 11:30 p.m. EST. Fans can speak direct to Todd and Bruce by calling 1-800-344- ROCK.
